We are a forward-thinking service, embracing flexible ways of working through telephone and video consultations, and collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team via MS Teams to deliver safe, effective, and child-centred care.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual who shares our passion for delivering high-quality paediatric dietetic care and making a real difference to children and families.
This is an excellent post for a Band 6 dietitian looking to expand their paediatric expertise while enjoying the diversity and rewards of community practice in a supportive team environment.
Must have HCPC registration and band 5 experience.
Main duties of the job
Based at East Riding Community Hospital in Beverley, you will deliver care across a range of community settings, including clinics throughout East Riding and Pocklington. The role offers fantastic variety, including:
One-to-one outpatient clinics and telephone consultations Input into special schools Participation in MDT meetings Delivering group education sessions You will work with a wide range of clinical conditions such as:
Food allergies Nutritional support and enteral feeding Restrictive eating and nutritional deficiencies Learning difficulties and safeguarding concerns

Qualifications and Knowledge Essential
A broad understanding of relevant policy, drivers and their application An understanding of relevant clinical practice/standards within identified clinical area of dietetics A broad general knowledge of clinical dietetics Current professional registration with HCPC BSc(Hons) Dietetics or PG Dip Dietetics
Experience Essential
