About this role

Work tasks: Main areas of work: - Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating arrangements, and provide exceptional service by answering inquiries and offering menu recommendations for food and beverages. - Prepare and serve food, and hot and cold drinks to established standards, ensuring quality and consistency. - Organize workstations, operate tools and appliances in the serving and work area, and notify the kitchen of low stock levels as needed. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in serving and work areas, tools, and equipment; adhere to food safety laws and hygiene protocols - Operate the POS system to process cash, card, and digital payments accurately, providing receipts and resolving customer payment inquiries professionally. - Ensure cleanliness and hygiene by washing dishes, clearing tables, and maintaining dining areas, inspecting and monitoring products to ensure freshness and presentation consistency in accordance with company procedures. - Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and waste disposal. - Collaborate with team members, manage multiple tasks efficiently, especially during peak service times to ensure smooth operations, and assist with replenishing stock and supplies. - Provide support during staff absences or high-demand periods, performing duties as assigned to meet business needs. - Perform tasks assigned by the Manager adhering to schedules and deadlines. - Follow company regulations, procedures, and technical guidelines, participate in quality control checks, report issues promptly, and provide updates or reports as required. Other requirements: - Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented with strong communication skills to provide exceptional service and create a welcoming atmosphere. - Detail-oriented and proactive, and flexible ensuring accuracy in orders, presentation standards, and anticipating customer needs. - Demonstrates integrity, and punctuality, a reliable team player with strong problem-solving skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively to ensure smooth operations. - Health-conscious and committed to upholding food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols. - Proficiency in coffee preparation (espresso machines) and knowledge of basic alcoholic drink recipes and responsible service practices (preferred). - Experience in operating POS systems, handling payments, and managing accurate transactions efficiently (preferred). - A valid health certificate is required for food handling. - Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays or supplies for extended periods. - Legal eligibility to meet age requirements for serving alcohol. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
