This role involves meeting and greeting patients and visitors, reception work, data entry, computer based work, ordering stock, answering the telephone and other general office duties as required by management on a very busy Neonatal Intensive Care. The successful candidate must be able to communicate well with families who are under extreme stress due to the early arrival of their baby. Furthermore the role is front of house and requires someone who is friendly, approachable and goes the extra mile to support families and maintain an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications Essential
GCSE English & Mathematics

NVQ level 2 in business admin or above
Experience Essential
Working experience/knowledge of computers & data input Previous clerical experience in an administrative setting Experience of working face to face and/or telephone contact with the general public

Previous NHS administration experience Experience in use of computer programs such as EPR, Microsoft office , Excel, IPROC
Skills Essential
Correct use of spelling and grammar within written work Excellent IT skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
