We are looking for the right person to join our forward thinking Practice. We have part time Salaried GP Vacancy

Salary: Competitive salary (in line with BMA Contract) plus Medical Indemnity cover and CPD (Pro rata)- 32days(pro rata) Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays

Grosvenor is a friendly, well organised GMS Practice wth high QOF scores and a Good overall CQC rating serving 15,500 patients from 2 purpose built sites.

The Practice fosters a strong ethos of mutual support and team work meeting regularly to discuss clinical cases alongside structured educational meetings.

Main duties of the job

The Post-Holder will work in line with a BMA job plan to include both telephone and face to face consultations, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely fashion. The Post holder will be responsible for autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation. Actioning a share of blood test results and incoming clinical documents both paper and electronic.Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols. Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate. Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards. Collecting data for audit purposes. Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions. Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate.In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Grosvenor is an innovative practice across 2 sites caring for 15,500 patients. Grosvenor is part of the GHR Primary Care Network with Hungerford & Rope Green, providing a strong foundation for high-quality place-based care in the south of Cheshire.

The Practice has 5 GP partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 3 Advanced Clinical Practitioners, 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 2 Pharmacy Technicians, a well-established Practice Nurse team including HCAs, and General Practice Assistants plus a well-being team. We also work closely with the community teams and have first contact practitioners working within the practice.

The Practice fosters a strong ethos of mutual support and teamwork meeting regularly to discuss clinical cases alongside structured educational meetings. Autonomy of practice and special interests and career development opportunities are encouraged and supported for our salaried GPs. We are currently supporting a GP and GPN through the fellowship programme and our clinical model supports mentorship and professional development.

We are a training practice for GP Registrars, F2s, Medical and Nursing Students. We are continuously contributing to the development of new ways of working across Primary Care, including hosting the weekend Hub for South Cheshire patients and working smarter with other practices within our local Care Community in supporting community projects.

Person Specification

Experience Essential

-Chronic disease management -Primary prevention & screening services -Clinical Governance -Delivery of QoF targets -Self audit and reflection -Organised and efficient in record keeping and completion of paperwork -Time management being able to prioritise work and work under pressure -Computer literacy

Desirable

-Experience of working with Emis Web clinical system -Adaptability to change -Service Development

Qualifications Essential

-Fully qualified GP with GMC registration -MRCGP -Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate) -General practice (Vocational Training Scheme) trained -On GP performers list -Enhanced DBS check -UK driving licence -Current CPR certificate -UK work permit (if required) -Medical defence union cover-(funding will be provided for this cover)
