An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity for a Medical Secretary within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Directorate at the University Hospitals of North Midlands that could be right for you.
The position is 35 hours per week - (Monday to Friday)
Main duties of the job
We are looking to appoint a Medical Secretary to the Obstetric & Gynaecology Secretarial Team. This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone who has experience of working in the NHS. You will have experience of administration duties and dealing with members of the public.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills Outstanding empathy and compassion Able to use their own initiative Organisational Skills Experience of Microsoft Office packages Clinical typing experience Understanding of clinics and appointments Understanding of Referral to treatment pathways

Education & Qualifications Essential
Good general education to include GCSE English or equivalent RSA III word processing or equivalent

Secretarial/clerical background.
