We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Dentist to join our friendly and ambitious team on either a part-time or full-time basis. Main duties of the job

Provide high-quality NHS and private dental care to a wide range of patients within a busy mixed practice environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients in accordance with current clinical guidelines and GDC standards, whilst maintaining excellent patient communication and clinical records.

Key duties will include: Delivering routine and emergency dental care Providing comprehensive treatment planning and preventative advice Managing NHS and private patient lists effectively Identifying opportunities for private treatment where clinically appropriate Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical documentation Working collaboratively with the wider dental team to ensure excellent patient care and experience Adhering to all cross infection, safeguarding and CQC requirements Participating in practice meetings, audits and ongoing professional development

The role would particularly suit a clinician who is motivated to develop their private skills alongside NHS dentistry. Experience or interest in Invisalign, digital dentistry and cosmetic treatments would be advantageous, although support and mentoring can be provided.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, teamwork and a patient-centred approach at all times.

The role includes: Routine and emergency dental care Comprehensive treatment planning Preventative and restorative dentistry Building and maintaining long-term patient relationships Identifying and discussing private treatment options where clinically appropriate Working collaboratively with the wider clinical and management team Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records Adhering to all GDC, CQC and cross infection control standards

The ideal candidate will: Hold full GDC registration Hold an NHS Performer Number Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate a patient-centred approach Be motivated, professional and team-oriented Have good standards of clinical governance and record keeping Have experience in both NHS and private dentistry (preferred)

Interest or experience in Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry or digital dentistry would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience Essential

Experience providing NHS general dental services Ability to provide comprehensive dental treatment planning Experience managing a broad range of routine and emergency dental care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong clinical record keeping and understanding of clinical governance Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to patient-centred care

Desirable

Experience in mixed NHS and private practice Experience with digital workflows, scanners and cosmetic dentistry Experience providing Invisalign or clear aligner treatments

Qualifications Essential

Essential Criteria Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent recognised dental qualification Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) Valid NHS Performer Number Indemnity cover appropriate for general dental practice Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) Right to work in the UK

Desirable

Desirable Criteria Postgraduate qualifications or courses in restorative, cosmetic or orthodontic dentistry Invisalign certification or experience Experience using digital dentistry workflows and intraoral scanners
