A progressive pig farming enterprise is seeking to recruit Pig Farm Assistants to join its team. This is a hands-on role involving the daily care and management of pigs while supporting the efficient operation of the farm and maintaining the standards of animal welfare on farm, health, and safety. Duties may include: - Feeding and caring for pigs - Monitoring livestock and reporting any issues to management - Assisting with farrowing, weaning, and other routine livestock tasks - Cleaning and maintaining animal housing and farm facilities - Following farm hygiene and biosecurity procedures - Maintaining farm records as required - Assisting with general farm maintenance - Following health and safety procedures - Carrying out other duties related to the operation of the farm The role involves working 39 hours per week and offers an annual salary of €36,605.
