Main duties of the job
As Deputy Ward Manager on our CAMHS Ward, you will become part of a compassionate and dedicated team committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and adolescents. We take a personalised and therapeutic approach, using evidence-based interventions to help young people build resilience, develop confidence, and move towards a healthier and more positive future. As a valued member of the team, you will play an integral role in each young persons recovery journey, supporting the assessment and delivery of individualised care plans while promoting dignity, safety, and emotional wellbeing.

Registered Mental Health Nurse with at least at least 18 months to two years of post-registration experience
This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.
You will be working on Willow CAMHS Ward.

Person Specification
Requirements Essential
Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) along with Mental Health. The candidate should also have at least 18 months to two years of post-registration experience and be able to show clear expertise within CAMHS. Demonstrate a strong commitment to continued professional development, including ongoing growth in leadership capabilities. Solid computer skills are important for this role.
Desirable
Experience in clinical supervision experience is desirable.
