Job summary ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You'll have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training

Main duties of the job As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, your primary responsibility will be to address the various needs of our residents, ensuring a high standard of person-centred care and support is delivered consistently. This role involves not only providing care but also supervising and motivating a team of dedicated Care Assistants under the guidance of the Deputy General Manager. A critical part of your role will also be supporting the clinical team in specific areas such as medication management, assessments, crafting care plans, or participating in care reviews. Upholding the dignity and preferences of every resident is paramount; thus, your ability to foster an environment that is warm, welcoming, and vibrant is essential. NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
