With facilities in Dublin, Cork, and Belfast, we provide a first-class rapid order and next day dispatch of our extensive range of stock materials through-out Ireland. --- JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate for the role of CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating CNC cutting machinery within a manufacturing environment. The role involves supporting day-to-day production activities and ensuring materials are processed in accordance with required specifications and quality standards. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to health and safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a production environment. --- MAIN DUTIES: Operate CNC cutting machinery in accordance with production instructions. Support the processing of metal materials to required specifications. Follow work instructions to ensure consistent and accurate output. Select and handle materials in line with production requirements. Carry out cutting and processing operations using CNC equipment. Inspect finished components using appropriate measuring tools (e.g. tape measure, vernier calipers) to ensure compliance with specifications. Carry out checks on machinery and report any faults or issues. Identify and troubleshoot operational issues to support continuous production. Maintain production records and documentation as required. Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety procedures. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Assist with general production-related tasks as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. --- ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to identify and troubleshoot operational issues with CNC equipment. Experience working with metal materials such as aluminium or similar. Ability to use measuring tools accurately (e.g. tape measure and vernier calipers). Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures in an industrial setting. Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Experience working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment. Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, Combilifts, or overhead cranes desirable).
