Care Assistants (Healthcare assistants) – Intellectual Disability Services We are currently recruiting Care Assistants to support adults with intellectual disabilities across residential services. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a person-centred, socially inclusive service, making a real difference in people’s lives. As a Care Assistant, you will: Support individuals in line with their person-centred care plans Work closely with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams Assist with daily living activities, including personal care Promote independence, dignity, and social inclusion Carry out domestic and cleaning duties Support service users in community-based activities Requirements QQI Level 5 (FETAC) Major Award in Healthcare or equivalent (essential) Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities (desirable) Full clean driving licence Strong communication and organisational skills Genuine kindness, empathy, and patience Additional Details Positions available across residential services Includes day and night shifts Full-time opportunities We are looking for compassionate individuals who are: Person-centred in their approach Reliable and committed Passionate about delivering high-quality care
