Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Playgroup Leader to deliver and facilitate play opportunities for children in a safe and stimulating environment. The role involves supporting pre-school children in both structured and informal settings, promoting independence, confidence and social interaction. Key Responsibilities - Supervise children’s games and encourage the development of physical, social and language skills; - Provide play areas and prepare materials for a wide range of children’s activities; - Encourage children’s independence, self-confidence and social interaction; - Organise and supervise children on excursions; - Organise and supervise activities in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, responding appropriately to injuries and emergencies; - Put away equipment and clean premises after use; - Liaise with parents, carers and colleagues, maintaining appropriate records.
