Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 5 Audiologists to join our friendly team to deliver a quality Adult assessment and rehabilitation care pathway. One post is based at acute site Whittington hospital, other at St Ann's hospital in community. Clinics are held at a number of locations across Haringey and Islington. We are an ENT/Consultant led service, providing a comprehensive diagnostic and (re)habilitation service to Adults in the boroughs of Islington and Haringey The postholder will be based predominantly either at Whittington hospital or St Ann's hospital, although there will be rotation at other sites. We also work closely with UCL university to provide clinical placements for BSc students.
Main duties of the job
To perform routine audiological assessments on adults without direct supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
To select and fit hearing aids to routine adult clients referred from General Practitioners, and internally via consultant Audiological Physician/ENT as directed.
To assist senior Audiological staff/medical staff with non- routine diagnostic and rehabilitative cases for adults.
