About the role Bluebird Care Dublin South are seeking an HR Generalist to support the HR Manager in delivering effective HR operations, recruitment activities, workforce planning, employee support, compliance, and people processes across the organisation. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient HR administration, supporting talent acquisition activities, maintaining compliance with Irish employment regulations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and workforce management processes within a regulated healthcare environment. Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, coordinating recruitment activities, maintaining compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements, and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes within a healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities * Provide day-to-day HR support and act as a first point of contact for employee HR queries. * Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, probation, transfer, and offboarding processes. * Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR systems. * Prepare employment contracts, HR correspondence, reports, and documentation. * Support recruitment activities including vacancy coordination, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer administration. * Liaise with hiring managers and external recruitment agencies to support workforce requirements. * Assist with workforce planning activities and recruitment reporting. * Coordinate compliance processes including Garda Vetting, Right to Work checks, employment documentation, and mandatory certifications. * Support the administration of General Employment Permits and Critical Skills Employment Permits. * Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation, healthcare regulations, and company policies. * Coordinate mandatory training programmes and maintain training records. * Prepare HR metrics, compliance reports, workforce reports, and KPI data. Essential Requirements * Bachelor's Degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Employment Law, Psychology, or a related discipline. * Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or People Operations. * Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration activities. * Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications. * Strong knowledge of HR operations and Irish employment legislation. Desirable Requirements * Experience working within healthcare, home care, or another regulated environment. * Experience supporting employment permit processes and immigration compliance. * CIPD qualification or working towards professional accreditation.
