Our Client, Laventor Limited T/A Daniel P Buckley Wool Merchants, based at 4 Joyce House, Barrack Square, Ballincollig, Cork, P31 HW35, is hiring 2 experienced Wool Quality Assurance Technicians for their operations located at Hegarty Street, Milstreet, Co. Cork, P51CY61. You’ll be responsible for- Inspect and assess wool received from suppliers and producers. Verify wool quality, classification, and grading in accordance with company standards. Collect and prepare wool samples for testing and analysis. Monitor storage conditions and handling procedures to maintain product quality. Maintain accurate quality assurance records and inspection reports. Investigate quality-related issues and recommend corrective actions. Assist in ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry requirements. Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to maintain quality standards throughout the supply chain. You will be required to have previous experience in quality control, textile inspection, and wool grading; Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. This is a full-time position offering 39 hours per week with an annual salary of €36,605.
