Matthew Stephen Jewellers - 8 O'Connell Street Limerick, Ireland Job description: Goldsmith Join our renowned jewellery studio as a Goldsmith, where craftsmanship meets creativity. We're looking for a passionate artisan with experience in fine jewelry making, stone setting, and metalwork. Precision, attention to detail, and a love for your craft At least 3 years of bench experience Strong knowledge of precious metals and stones Key Responsibilities: Repair, resize, and restore jewellery including rings, chains, and settings Set gemstones using a variety of traditional and modern techniques Polish, finish, and quality-check all items before completion Maintain workshop tools and ensure a clean, safe working environment Requirements: *Proven experience as a Goldsmith or Jewellery Maker Strong hand skills with precision tools and bench work Knowledge of metal properties, soldering, stone setting, and finishing techniques High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team The position is full time - 40 hours per week Remuneration will be based on experience - minimum annual remuneration will be €31,200 per year.
