Job Title: Playgroup Leader Company: DEW Childcare T/A Bloomfield Childcare Work Location: 46 Bloomfield Park, Donnybrook, Dublin D04E8X5 Annual Salary: €37,544 Weekly Hours: 40hours We are looking for full-time Playgroup Leaders to join the team. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and engage children in games and activities that foster physical, social, and language skills. - Prepare and maintain play areas and materials to support a wide range of children's activities. - Encourage children's independence, self-confidence, and positive social interactions. - Organise and oversee children's excursions and outings. - Ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety regulations, responding effectively to any injuries or emergencies. - Maintain a clean and organized environment by putting away equipment and cleaning the premises after use. - Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues, maintaining accurate records as required. Requirements: - Experience working in the field. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to maintain a positive approach in a sometimes-challenging environment. - Caring and empathetic nature. - A second language would be an advantage. - A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to meet the needs of the company is required.
