Red Access Hire is seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Operator / Driver to join our team on a part-time basis for 3 days per week. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting solar panel installation projects across Munster, with the vast majority of work site locations situated within County Cork. Key Responsibilities: Safe transport, precise setup, and professional operation of access machinery on active commercial and residential solar installation sites. Collaborating directly with our solar installation teams to ensure a smooth on-site workflow and safe material positioning. Conducting rigorous daily pre-use machinery inspections and maintaining accurate safety logs. Ensuring strict adherence to site safety guidelines and representing Red Access Hire professionally at all times. Mandatory Requirements: Certification: Valid IPAF / PAL Card is essential. Safety Qualifications: Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and Working at Heights certificates are mandatory. Age Profile: Must be 25 years of age or older (This is a strict requirement to satisfy our commercial vehicle fleet insurance policy). Experience: Proven history operating access platform fleets safely in a fast-paced field construction or installation environment.
