Cork, is currently seeking Cabinet Makers for immediate start at their workshop in Killeagh, Co. Cork. Key Role Responsibilities & Functions: - Responsible for building high-quality cabinets and custom furniture components according to technical drawings and production specifications - This role requires experience with woodworking machinery, hand tools, and a commitment to producing exceptional craftsmanship while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. - Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and production specifications. - Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other materials to manufacture cabinets and furniture components. - Operate woodworking equipment including panel saws, table saws, edge banders, routers, planers, sanders, and drills. - Assemble cabinets and furniture using appropriate hardware, adhesives, and fastening techniques. - Install hinges, drawer slides, handles, and other cabinet hardware. - Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. - Perform sanding, fitting, and finishing preparation as required. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on tools and equipment. - Follow workplace health and safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). - Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality targets. Requirements – Skills & Experience: - Candidates must be competent to perform all job duties detailed above - Minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a cabinet maker, furniture maker, or woodworking technician in a manufacturing environment. - Candidates must have experience in a factory/manufacturing environment - Formal training or qualification related to cabinetmaking or carpentry is a plus but is not required - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. - Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and construction methods. - Knowledge of custom cabinetry and furniture manufacturing. - Experience operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. - Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay Rate €18.05 per hour Work Location: Cronin Furniture Limited, Burgess, Killeagh, Co. Cork, P36 DX88.
