About this role
In order to work in Ireland a non-EEA National, unless they are exempted, must hold a valid employment permit. Please review the Eligibility and requirements for an employment permit if you are unsure of your eligibility to apply for this vacancy. - Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other construction materials. - Support the installation of doors, windows, frames, flooring, cabinets, and other wooden structures. - Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. - Help maintain clean and organized work areas on construction sites. Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment. - Follow technical drawings, instructions, and supervisor guidance. Assist with repairs and maintenance of wooden fixtures and structures. - Comply with health and safety regulations at all times. - Participate in on-the-job training to improve carpentry skills and construction knowledge. Requirements: - Strong organisational and time‐management skills. - Good verbal and written communication abilities. - Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop new carpentry skills. - Team‐oriented mindset with a positive, proactive attitude. - Physical ability to lift materials and work on your feet. - Candidates with some practical experience in carpentry will be at an advantage; however a full training will be provided. - A basic understanding of carpentry materials, tools, and construction methods is desirable but not essential. - Entry-Level Candidate
