Please note this is a bank (Zero hour) contract A day in the life of a Cook Menu planning - Collaborating with the home manager and our residents' requests and wishes, you will be able to develop and implement menu ideas. Our homes are always having themed days and events where you can showcase your skills and creativity. Understanding dietary needs - You will work closely with the wider staff to ensure we are meeting our resident's specific nutritional and dietary needs including modified food textures and allergies. The job includes £13.50 per hour, refer a friend scheme with up to £1000, outstanding career development, and fully funded training up to QCF level 5. The requirements include a minimum of 12 months on your right to work and a background in kitchens with an understanding of running a professional kitchen. Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable. This is a bank (Zero hour) contract. Responsibilities include menu planning, understanding dietary needs, and kitchen management. This role does not require a DBS check or professional registration.
