The Role

We are seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to provide dedicated 1:1 support to an adult male in his 30s with complex care needs, within his own home.

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building trusting relationships and providing consistent, high-quality care. He communicates well and values positive interaction, so companionship is an important part of the role.

He has a strong interest in astronomy and enjoys films, using his laptop, and engaging with his hobbies. He also enjoys getting out into the community, including trips to restaurants, museums, concerts, and festivals.

You will provide both clinical and personal care, including medication administration and support with moving and handling, while also promoting independence and encouraging engagement in activities he enjoys.

This role includes both day and night shifts. He typically settles later in the evening, although this can vary. During the night, he will guide you with his ventilation needs, and you will provide ongoing monitoring to ensure his safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
