Join Our Innovative Liaison and Diversion Service in Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn as a community team manager!

Are you an exceptional individual with a track record of change management & a passion for working with one of the most diverse groups of service users there is?

The liaison & diversion service helps people suspected of committing a crime to access health & social support in order to tackle factors that might be driving criminal behaviour.

We provide a triage assessment of needs & arrange referrals into services (diversion), liaise with existing services and help the police, courts and other criminal justice agencies to deliver safe, effective and efficient criminal justice processes and outcomes. This improves the lives of vulnerable people, many of whom are disengaged from health and social care. By giving these people a helping hand we hope to reduce crime and make safer communities.

Main duties of the job

About the Role

As a Clinical Team Leader, you will:

Lead and motivate teams in 2 Police Investigation centres in Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn to deliver high-quality screening, triage, assessment and referral. Complete a limited number of assessments, ensuring focused and effective intervention Travel between your two PICs to maintain a high level of visibility, based in the PICs at least 4 days a week. Develop close relationships with local services to maintain and build care pathways Who We're Looking For

By joining our team, you will be well supported to develop your knowledge and skills to deliver high quality services for people suspected of crimes. Personal development is supported through meaningful appraisal, a strong induction package, a bespoke competency package and comprehensive in house & external training programmes.

On a monthly basis you will be offered reflective practice sessions, mandatory clinical supervision, and Line management supervision. You will also have the opportunity to take part in Quality improvement projects within the service.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip SW or Dip OT or equivalent, or HCPC registered

Desirable

ILM Certificate in management or equivalent Higher degree or post-graduate certificate in area of clinical / therapeutic practice

Experience Essential

Evidence of providing leadership in a Mental Health care environment including service development. Able to demonstrate experience at a senior clinical level including staff management / supervision experience. Experience with risk assessment and ongoing management

Other Essential

Ability to travel independently
