This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to support the Emergency Care Collaborative in the leadership and management of the Emergency Department at CIC with a specific focus on CQC recovery following recent inspection .
Main duties of the job
The role will provide leadership at team level and will support the Collaborative Lead nurse and Operational Managers. the post holder will have responsibility for:
the delivery of safe, quality emergency department services (safety, effectiveness and patient experience) the quality performance of key trust wide care priorities and standards ensuring clinical nursing engagement, taking responsibility for clinical governance, safety and risk management within the service providing leadership, support and advice to the ED team Contribute as appropriate to Collaborative strategy development and implementation Supporting and deputising for the Senior Leadership Team

1st Level live NMC (RGN/RN (A)) / HCPC equivalent Professional knowledge acquired through degree level study; supplemented by post graduate diploma specialist training Substantive experience in a senior nursing position PP126/127 or equivalent teaching/assessing D32/33 qualification Evidence of CPD
