Job summary Are you passionate about providing an efficient medicines supply service to Inpatients in our hospital? The Inpatient Pharmacy at the LGI is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Pharmacy Services Assistant (Apprentice) to join the friendly, sociable team at the LGI.
Main duties of the job The successful candidate will undertake the Level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Services qualification whilst training on the job over a 12-15 month period. On completion of this qualification, will then be able to progress to a Senior Pharmacy Services Assistant should they wish to do so. Full training will be given in labelling and dispensing of medicines, ordering and stock maintenance and reception duties.

What you will bring to the role The successful candidate will have good literacy and numeracy skills and I.T skills. They will be able to follow standard operating procedures, be a quick learner and retain information.
