The role require abilities to connect with multiple functions, such as CSR, sales, design, and product development/production teams at customer level. As a Product specialist/Developer, the person needs to be comfortable in initiating and managing multiple projects and the ability to work under heavy pressure and meet deadlines. The person is expected to show outstanding power of persuasion and ability and willingness to follow and improve company processes. The role as Product Specialist/Developer is to engage and support customers (brands) to work with WRSD as key supplier, ingredient brand and partner. The STS is a supportive customer facing role within WRSD together with the responsible KAM, with responsibilities to cultivate existing programs, initiate new projects for each season, manage developments on customer inquiries with clear targets in terms of quality, precision, volume, cost of goods, revenue and potential profit. The role is responsible for all COGS input to Sales. The role is responsible for the customers in his/her portfolio as first go-to contact for all product and production related matters during the product/project development and production stages. The role is also responsible for both production and R&D coordination and will serve as the first point of contact for the customer. (Design, sourcing, production teams). The role is expected to stay up to date with current events/trends in relation to the Product specialists product segment (Fashion, Outdoor, Sports). The person is expected to show a well rooted desire and ability to improve the world of fashion and apparel, as a front runner and change agent. The global textile industry is accountable for massive water pollution. Research cited by the World Bank indicates that nearly 20% of all water pollution worldwide is related to the process of dyeing textiles. Using our scientific and precise color system, we can introduce the color early in the manufacturing sequence. With this method, the exact color is integrated into the material from the beginning, without the use of water or harmful chemicals. The results are astounding – the product keeps its exact color, year after year, regardless of wear, washing or sun.
