Job summary
We are seeking an Equipment support assistant to work at Warrington Hospital, the post-holder will preferably have previous experience in a healthcare environment however full training will be provided.
The main duties of the post's will be carrying out furniture and office moves, moving beds, medical equipment, and mattresses to various wards, carry out cleaning duties of equipment and occasional cleaning of clinical areas.
Joining our large adaptable and professional Team, you will need to have a positive attitude and excellent organisational skills. You will attend relevant training courses, including Trust mandatory training for your own personal development and to maintain and improve standards within the department.
Main duties of the job
To carry out a full range of portering duties within the hospital which will include the transfer of beds, mattresses and other Trust equipment.
All portering requests must be prioritised and response times met.
The role also involves whole ward/ department moves and the postholder must liaise closely with the Ward Manager and Matron.
