About this role

Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS) is taking the next step in our strategy to develop and expand our digital offering, by establishing a new Product Area (PA), Sandvik Applied Manufacturing Technologies (SAMT), with a dual mission: to profitably expand our position within manufacturing by creating and bringing premium digital offerings to markets across the manufacturing value chain, and to support value creation through digitalization across all businesses within SMS. The missions are reflected in the structure of SAMT consisting of two principle parts. One part is a portfolio of customer facing and self-sufficient Business Units (BU’s) which is growing fast, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions, and already contain several leading brands in their respective fields. The other part is the development of Center of Digital Excellence (CODE), to ensure high quality support to these BU’s and to execute the digital strategy across SMS. SAMT is transforming how we integrate and grow companies in a digital business portfolio. Because of this, we are now looking for a self-directed, agile Business Integration Coach to join our recently formed Integration team. This is an exciting opportunity to excel your career as SAMT continues to expand its footprints within the digital space of manufacturing. You get to be in from the very beginning, with planned merger and acquisition projects on an international level ahead of you, and in a position where you truly drive positive change. This position is located at Epicenter in Stockholm, and international travel is a natural part of the job. Your mission – Taking our integration practice to the next level As a Business Integration Coach, you support SAMT and our portfolio of companies in the work needed to achive targeted levels of integration and organizational evolution. You help us achieve this by delivering agile and modern ways of providing value. Understanding how to change and align mergers and acquisitions with the Sandvik way is an important part of this position, and you are responsible for nurturing the agility of both our team, and the rest of our portfolio of business. Shaping our broader transformation at an organizational level, you work across products and services for various functional and business domains; using your understanding for the business to get things done and setting a great example. You coach business leaders and teams on a variety of agile related topics, which includes product management, design thinking, LEAN, engineering culture and DevOps. Your character – An experienced and inspiring coach with a strong business acumen We are looking for someone with a Bachelors’ in a relevant field of studies, or the equivalent knowledge gained from working. You have a solid foundation in driving agile transformations, from design to implementation, and you are fluent in both written and verbal English. Other beneficial skills and experiences are: • Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM, XP, Kanban, SAFe or fluid • Training individuals and teams in agile related topics • Knowledge of best practices in user-centered design like user research, hypothesis-driven development, prototyping and usability testing • Deep knowledge of technical engineering best practices, including test driven development, continuous integration and DevOps Your character fascinates us. You understand and analyze people easily, a skill you utilize to make assessments of company cultures and key talents in integration processes. With strong communication skills and a high level of self-motivation, you work effortlessly and efficient with stakeholders at all levels, and you value the importance of team work - enabling you to create strong relationships based on trust and respect.
