ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

Currently, were seeking a warm and enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant for the prestigious Poets Mews Care Home in Somerset, part of our award-winning team. We cherish individuals dedicated to making a difference. As a housekeeping assistant, your main role is to work collaboratively to maintain high cleanliness and laundry standards. You'll follow our housekeeping and laundry procedures and uphold hotel service standards.
We expect candidates to live by our values of care, respect, and accountability. Required skills include knowledge of Health and Safety, demonstrable experience in public laundry settings, and flexibility to adapt to varying responsibilities. Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments. Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting. The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Qualifications Essential
