Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The Air & Ocean Country Product Head is responsible for driving the commercial growth, operational excellence, and strategic direction of the Air & Ocean product in the country. The role oversees business development, freight forwarding operations, customer management, operational performance, compliance, and financial objectives across the organization.
The position is expected to lead end-to-end Air & Ocean operations while managing operational transformation, process alignment, and stakeholder coordination across multiple functions. The role also acts as a key escalation point for operational and customer-related concerns.
QualificationsExtensive experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operationsStrong background in Air Freight and/or Ocean Freight operations leadershipExperience managing operational performance, customer requirements, and business targetsProven exposure to financial management, operational planning, and team leadershipFamiliarity with freight forwarding systems and operational platformsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience working within multinational or regional logistics organizations is highly preferredKnowledge of customs, compliance, and operational standards within the logistics industryAbility to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operational environment
