Edgeware needs to strengthen our support organization with a new TAC (technical assistance center) engineer to serve new and existing customers across the globe. The position is located in Stockholm. We are looking for a skilled engineer who enjoy customer interaction and who is challenged by troubleshooting in a complex environment. Experience from TV/Video business is a requirement. The position will allow you to develop in the following areas: Tasks: - Day-to-day service and support of Edgeware end-customers and partners globally as a member of the TAC team. - Give customer advice on how to use the Edgeware system, provide troubleshooting support and perform corrective activities when required. - Work in close cooperation with solution architects and R&D resources to find solutions to and solve customer issues. - Actively contribute to our customer satisfaction We offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional and fast-moving team within a world leading provider of video streaming solutions. Qualifications - Master of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar - At least 5 years of experience - Excellent written and spoken English - Excellent analytic ability and problem-solving capabilities - Outgoing personality with a customer focus and a genuine customer friendly attitude. A thourough understanding of the following technologies - Linux operating systems - IP network design and operation - Video streaming protocols - Video encoders/transcoders
