The Finance Assistant is handling everyday financial work at the the B-Reel Stockholm office related to the Creative Agency. We have two subsidiaries in Stockholm and the Finance Assistant mainly handles accounts receivables and payables, handles payments and prepare cash reports. We are 5 people at the Finance department in Stockholm and this role will report to Finance Manager Europe. Main tasks: - Take care of incoming finance mail - Handle accounts payable ledger, ensuring proper classification and recording - Handle accounts receivable ledger, record incoming payments and reminders - Reconcile ledgers to general ledger - Monitor day to day bank movements and accounting of all cash transactions - Prepare weekly cash reports for the companies in Stockholm - Handle staff expenses - Report monthly tax schedules for VAT and social security and taxes on skv.se - Ad hoc reconciliations and finance projects Ideally your background contain: - A minimum of basic financial education at university level - 2+ years of accounting experience. Media and commercial industry experience is a plus - Knowledge of accounting softwares, excel and office 365 These are things we would like to see in you: - A can-do attitude and a desire to make the workplace fun - Fluent in both english and swedish since we work across the globe. - You need to be able to handle lots of transactions, stay organized combined with a patient personality! The B-Reel group consist of three business areas: Creative Agency, Commercial Film and Feature Film. We are 150 people around the world and have studios in five locations. Besides Stockholm, we are represented in New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona and London.
