Managing IP rights are vital and important elements of Sandvik’s business operations. Within Group Trademarks and Brand Related IP - a part of Sandvik’s Legal Function – we register, defend and enforce trademarks, domain names and copyright all over the world to create business value for the organization. We are now looking for a Trademark Administrator to join our team in Stockholm. Your mission – Coordinating trademark processes and supporting our team In this position, you are an important member of our team and involved in all brand related IP matters, where you support our Legal Counsels and the manager with administrative tasks in all areas of our responsibility. Coordinating and managing trademark filings, docketing trademark applications and managing deadlines are all part of your daily work, as are handling renewals, managing invoices and updating our domain name portal. You collect evidence of use for prosecution and maintenance, as well as manage and update our electronic records to ensure that our rights are maintained, but also that the records are accurate. Extensive contacts with foreign counsels and internal stakeholders around the world are part of your work. You also make sure to improve our daily operations and common processes. Your character – An accurate and meticulous administrator with a passion for teamwork We are looking for someone with experience from working in an IP law firm or as an IP administrator in an industrial company. You have good knowledge of the trademark process, from name proposal to granted registration, along with experience from working directly with WIPO, USPTO and EUIPO. You also have basic knowledge of copyrights and IP enforcement, and good knowledge of opposition proceedings. Any additional experience of working with SAP Frontend and skills in using the IP management system Ipendo Platform are advantageous. We operate in an international environment, which calls for fluency in both written and verbal English, and we consider skills in other languages beneficial.
