We are looking for operational manager to join our team to support the practice manager, GP's and non clinical teams.
Manage the Practice Reception and Administration Teams to ensure smooth effective running, providing administrative support to the Practice Manager
Main duties of the job
To support the Practice manager in the day-to-day operational management of the practice to deliver high quality care to the patient population and ensure the smooth running of the practice are met.

Job description Job responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to all staff, ensuring that they always adhere to policy and procedure
Regulatory compliance with CQC and GDPR
Act as the lead HR for recruitment including pre-employment check and induction, appraisal and staff development.
Review and update practice policies, ensuring they relate to current practice.
Support practice manager in the compilation of practice report and the practice development plan.
Deputise for the practice manager when absent.
Support the Practice manager with managing the patients complaint process and ensure that staff are fully conversant with the complaints procedure.
To attend meeting on behalf of the practice manager if needed.
To deliver training to internal staff on an adhoc basis or during group training sessions if needed.
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Previous Management Experience Experience of working in a GP practice Experience of performance management including appraisal writing, staff development and disciplinary procedures Experience of workforce planning, forecasting and development Relevant health and safety experience
Qualifications Desirable
Experience of EMIS clinical system
