About this role
Role: • Build scalable production systems for data collection, data transformation, feature extraction, model training, and scoring. • Build scalable production systems for machine learning information extraction from unstructured marketing research documents. • Objectively measure and evaluate the performance of machine learning systems. • Tune search engines for better results ranking and objectively evaluate the search performance. What we need for you: • 4+ years experience with Python, Java, or equivalent programming language • Hands on experience with ElasticSearch / Lucene / Solr and strong understanding of indexing, search, information retrieval and relevance fundamentals. • Experience with Unix/Linux. • Skilled in at least a few of the following natural language processing techniques: • Text Classification & Clustering • Syntactic & Semantic Parsing • Question Answering • Query Understanding and Expansion • Search Indexing & Fuzzy Matching • Machine Learning for NLP • Deep learning for NLP - You are comfortable in both written and spoken English - You enjoy being part of a team, and you are a good communicator Stravito is a knowledge technology company.
