You, as the successful candidate: We are looking for senior Linux developers with multiple years of experience from design, integration and troubleshooting of embedded Linux user and kernel space components. You really want to make a difference and don’t hesitate to take on whatever is needed to get things done. Good communication skills and fluent in English is required as well as knowledge in the Agile process, and willingness to work in an Agile organization. Core Competences: •5+ years of software development experience in embedded Linux •Excellent SW Integration, verification, and troubleshooting skills •Excellent C programming skills •Good skills in build systems such as Yocto •Good understanding of CPU and DSP architectures •Good understanding of common Linux development tools such as git, GNU Make, gcc, and gdb •Good mentoring skills •Good skills in English •Both self-driven and able to work in teams Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements: •M.Sc., B.Sc. or similar in Computer, Electrical, Telecommunication Science or Engineering Baseband Execution Environment – Linux SW developer The Baseband Hardware & Execution Environment SW organization (BHE) is responsible for design and maintenance of Digital Baseband Units in the Ericsson Radio System. Major development activities are ongoing to enable 5G, cloud execution, and Internet of Things. We are looking for a senior Linux developer with multiple years of experience from SW development in embedded systems. You will be working with a small competent team of senior developers with many years of experience in the area. Your responsibilities will include design, integration and troubleshooting of embedded Linux user and kernel space components. You are expected to participate in all the phases of product development cycle – product definition, architecture, pre-development, design, scoping, planning, implementation and verification.
