Qualifications & Requirements: •Bachelor or above degree of Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics. •Minimum 5 years of working experience in component or hardware design, FAE experience is a plus. •Familiar with isolators and circulators •Good communication and collaboration skills. •Interested in business intelligence and supplier landscape •Fluent English speaking and writing. Job Summary: Power Amplifier Design within Radio HW needs a Developer/Component Engineer to reinforce the team working with isolators and circulators. The role is global, with the responsibility to handle components for the design teams in Kista, Beijing, Ottawa and Chengdu. You will collaborate with senior component engineers, strategic sourcing managers as well as Power Amplifier designers. You will also work together with supply and component layout engineers in the process to get the right documentation to support high volume production. Contact with our global suppliers is a regular part of the job. Responsibilities: - Component Introduction: collaborate internally & externally to introduce and develop isolators and circulators to target optimized solution on technology, commercial business and supply chain. - Component Portfolio Management: maintain the component portfolio, drive component standardization, promote part duplication ratio and old technology phased out management. - Component Technology: set up internal isolator and circulator roadmap, tracking new technology, promote design to cost and be the technology expert in related area. - Component Risk Management: proactively manage PCN/LTBs to mitigate supply risk, conduct and coordinate component failure analysis to secure quality. - Souring Partnership: provide technical consultancy to sourcing; drive sourcing strategy implementation within the component management; collaborate with sourcing to conduct yearly technical alignment meeting with PSL suppliers and provide technical support on new supplier evaluation Why is Ericsson a great place to work?
