The role of the Training Engineer is to deliver MathWorks product and application specific training to customers in Nordics and Europe. Primary areas of instruction include numerical analysis, modeling and simulation, and production code generation with respect to control or signal processing design. Role & responsibilities: The Training Engineer is primarily responsible for delivering product-training courses to users of MathWorks products. Specific activities include researching industry and application specific concepts to assist in the development and maintenance of course content, delivering courses on multiple products, customizing courses to adapt to customers demand, providing appropriate feedback to our development and sales organizations, and identifying and implementing course improvements based on student evaluations. Travel is expected to average two weeks per month. Minimum qualifications: A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required. Additional qualifications: MS or PhD in Engineering required Experience of control or signal processing applications is a plus Passion for Training Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink or similar products as applied to engineering problems Working knowledge of other programming languages (C, C++) is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Formal presentation or training delivery skills Fluency in English is required Knowledge of Swedish is a plus MathWorks is the leading developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists.
