Your role includes system development activities such as: requirement handling, studies, prototyping, verification analysis, and product documentation. If you have experience from working with data centers and understand how compute, storage and networking resources are optimized for Cloud you are well prepared. If you have worked with orchestration and automation and understand what Software Defined Infrastructure is, you could be the one. If you know your data center, we want to know you. Job Summary: Product Development Group Hyperscale Datacenter Systems, (PDG SDI SW) is a unit within PDU Cloud with responsibility for E2E development. We develop the SW for HDS 8000 in close cooperation with PDG HW . Ericsson HDS 8000 is a software defined infrastructure system. The key benefits of the system are high utilization of cloud infrastructure resources, fast time to market for new services or capacity expansion of existing ones and low TCO. A unique virtual POD (vPOD) concept is enabled by the Ericsson Command Center software and HDS 8000 networking hardware and software. HDS 8000 is based on Intel Rack Scale Design enabling hardware disaggregation and efficient pooling of hardware resources. We constantly explore how to benefit from the numerous advantages of cloud computing systems, Usability and AI, to ensure technology leadership in this area. We work with system studies, software design, verification and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working but also on security, quality and efficiency improvements.
