One of the doers we are looking for, is a Senior Interaction Designer who wants to join us in building our new portfolio of services and products while working with truly skilled and experienced people. This position is located in our brand-new office at Regeringsgatan, in the heart of Stockholm. Job Summary In this role, you add value to our design team by creating novel, yet simple, interactions for the various digital services we offer. You articulate your ideas through UI mockups, wireframes and low- and high-fidelity prototypes for mobile, tablet and desktop environments, in an environment where every day learning is key. Your responsibilities • Explaining decisions with proper design rationale and providing design feedback • Leading interaction design activities • Applying strategic thinking to designs and delivering innovative end-to-end user experiences • Visualizing ideas and concepts in a communicative and compelling manner • Delivering User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes and prototypes Your skills and qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in Human Computer Interaction or a design related field, and at least four years’ experience of interaction design across varied users, business problems and devices. You are familiar with rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototypes, and you have excellent skills in English, both written and verbal. Other required skills and qualifications: • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and Invision • The ability to meet and manage business goals and requirements • Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills; allowing you to conduct presentations • The ability to collaborate with both stakeholders and team members with ease • Experience from working with 3D modeling software is a plus At Sandvik, we strongly believe that diversity of experience, perspective and background will lead to a better environment for our employees, our business and, thereby, our customers.
