Key responsibility for this position is to: Prepare Ericsson DCP system architecture descriptions and documentation Network Design of Ericsson Device Connection Platform. Operation and maintenance on DCP environment Participate and drive different types of system studies Answer internal as well as customer request Life Cycle Management of DCS Qualifications Skills and experience for this position shall include, but are not limited to the following: •Hands on experience in deploying VNFs in Cloud environment preferably RHOSP •Experience in configuring ECM/Cloud Manager •Packet Core (EPG, vEPG, SAPC) •IP protocols and flow design (MPLS, VPN, BGP) •IP Backbone (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) •IPWorks (DNS Radius) •2-3 years of experience in system design system design, system integration or equivalent experience with a proven track record of success Description: Ericsson’s Machine to Machine (M2M) service is called Ericsson Device Connection Platform (EDCP) and we are looking to recruit into the Connectivity and Infrastructure organization of that service. We are responsible for the development and maintenance of M2M features found in EDCP like SIM ordering, M2M provisioning, subscription management as well as rating/billing for Operators or their Enterprises. EDCP supports 2, 2.5, 3G and 4G messaging and packet switched services. DCP Development deliver the features that build up the actual EDCP services exposed on our platform whilst the day to day running of that platform (Production) is managed by our colleagues in the EDCP Operational Organization (Ericsson Cloud Operations). Ericsson DCP is one of Ericsson's strategic initiatives to provide device connectivity to our customers for Machine to Machine (M2M) and Internet-of-things (IoT) communication services. We belong to GF Technology & Emerging Business , IoT), which is an important growth area within Ericsson, accountable for portfolio and capital resource allocation for IoT within Ericsson. Responsibilities: The Ericsson DCP solution consists of two areas Device Connectivity System (DCS) and Business Support Systems (BSS). Within Ericsson DCP development we are now looking into strengthen our network team which mainly work within DCS. We are currently looking for virtualisation specialist(s) with experience in deploying VNFs in cloud enviornment and configuring ECM. Within DCS we have both internal Ericsson products, such as STP, GGSN, EPG, vEPG, UDC (HLR-FE, CUDB, PG), LTE (HSS-FE, DSC), MPBN including IPWORKS, SAPC and 3rd Party products, such as SMSC from Symsoft and OSIX probes from Polystar.
