Responsibilities: Plan and execute agreed test/study scope with stakeholders Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling. Study and design solutions including new and existing features of an end to end network Integrate and verify new features of a complex end to end network Document study and verification outcome in internal and customer facing documentation. Build and maintain relationship as needed within the company and with relevant external parties. Perform trouble shooting and customer support Drive continuous improvements of products and processes Develop competence in technical domain In addition, all candidates must possess strong ability to work in a distributed team. You expected to work with an end to end focus but are also able to on demand go into more detailed level as needed without losing End-2-End focus. Key Qualifications: Education: MSc or equivalent Min years of experience: >5 years in applicable roles, >10 years in industry Domain experience: Experience of node/network level system test or system management, NIV or E2E solution test. Product experience: Relevant experience for role, for example: IP Transport products. Radio products preferably with vRAN/Cloud-RAN experience, packet core products and applications. Functions such as MBMS and PTT. We are an organization that love to work with E2E Network solutions ranging from traditional Evolved IP Networks to new network scenarios such as Fixed Wireless Access, Private Networking and Mission Critical Communication. Some of these being key uses cases for 5G. Our organization is uniquely positioned between the development PDU’s and the customer engagement teams providing good opportunities for customer interaction and Ericsson wide cooperation with regions and other business areas. Our organization is on high level doing E2E network solution systems management, solutions design, solutions verification, customer demos, proof of concepts and contributions within larger programs running in the business area. We are spread across Stockholm/Sweden, Aachen/Germany and Beijing/China. We are now seeking to strengthen the team and are looking for candidates with the following profiles: System Manager for E2E Network Solutions As a system manager within E2E Network solutions we expect you to have or gain the capability to do studies spanning multiple/all products within the Ericsson portfolio with a networking focus. While we expect product knowledge on individual product level the emphasis is on E2E networking and abilities to across a portfolio perform studies, identify ways to solve customer use cases, document solutions in customer facing documentation and support verification during verification activities. The expectation in this role will be to be very hands-on and ability to work hands-on with the products, to have knowledge of relevant applicable protocols while at the same time always keeping the E2E networking view in mind. E2E Network Verification Engineer As a E2E Network Verification Engineer within E2E Network solution we expect you to have or gain the capability to do verification spanning multiple/all products within the Ericsson portfolio with a networking focus. While we expect product knowledge on individual product level the emphasis is on E2E networking and abilities to across a portfolio perform verification activities, identify ways to solve customer use cases, document verification result and the resulting solutions in customer facing documentation and support system management and other functions with information from the verification activities. The expectation in this role will be to be very hands-on with the products and associated tools, to have knowledge of relevant applicable protocols while at the same time always keeping the E2E networking view in mind.
