About this role

The Application Services department at Sandvik IT Services is now looking for an IT Service Manager to join our team. In this role, you contribute to influencing and developing our Application Operations delivery and you ensure operational stability for many of our most prioritized applications and platforms. Your mission As IT Service Manager, you are responsible for the delivery of applications connected to the service Application Operations - and QlikView in particular. You work closely with the Service Owner to ensure stability and to meet agreements and targets. To ensure overall successful operations, you maintain performance indicators and follow-up on delivery precision, and you execute relevant projects within the area. You are a strong leader, acting in line with our core values and leadership model in your mission to inspire and develop your team members. You also ensure excellent stakeholder management and great relations between our department and the overall IT community. Your character We are looking for someone with a degree in Computer Science, combined with at least three years’ experience from the field of IT - focusing on Service Delivery and IT applications or platform operations. We depend on influential leaders and you have previously held a managerial position, giving you the confidence and skills to develop and motivate a team of technicians and architects. An understanding of, and experience from, IT delivery within Sandvik is beneficial, as is experience in QlikView, SAP, Projus and ITIL processes. We act both locally and globally, which calls for excellent communication skills in English and in Swedish. We are fascinated by your personality – you are an enthusiastic and driven IT professional with a strategic mindset and a knack for solving problems. By being dynamic and service-minded, you seize opportunities, drive improvements and develop our technologies and processer into successful business solutions. As a leader, you show the way by being one step ahead, enabling team spirit and creating open environments. This position also includes a large network, and you utilize your great communication skills to build strong relations with our stakeholders.
