Education/training Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level. Experience We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more. Required experience for this role: - Experience as a backend Java developer - You are interested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise - You are experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools - You are comfortable running your software in Linux environments - You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming and automated testing - You’re familiar with designing and building distributed and scalable systems and enjoy seeing millions of users running your code Working language: English Meriting competence - Swedish About the position - Work as a Java backend developer - Design, develop and deploy backend services with focus on high availability, low latency and scalability - Build and operate infrastructure, toolset and deployment pipelines - Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross- functional team - Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team, potentially including taking part in an on-call rotation - Continuously improve our product by innovating on the service through the usage of A/B tests. Location: Stockholm Start: Asap UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits. The Consultant roll As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
