Education and experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience In this role you will provide leadership and direction to functional teams. You will also coordinate all financial/accounting diligence engagements. You will engage diligence providers, ensuring appropriate expertise and reasonable cost. Furthermore you will liaise with the Strategy team on timeline and work with senior managers across Controllers, in order to develop a clear vision of diligence objectives. In this role you will also maintain regular communication with diligence providers to ensure that diligence objectives are being achieved and to understand emerging issues. You will report to senior management on status of diligence engagements, including emerging issues and resolution strategies. Key responsibilities For acquisitions, coordinate and manage purchase and integration-related activities. These responsibilities include managing the process to establish purchase price accounting entries, engaging and managing external providers (if applicable) and coordinating with the functional teams to ensure they are informed and prepared to record the purchase. Coordinating with finance managers, BU Finance and acquired company contacts to develop an integration plan for Controllers. Managing the execution of the integration. Creating a comprehensive monthly report outlining all Controllers’ related deal implications and reporting to senior management regularly on status of integration. For dispositions coordinate and manage sale and sale-related activities. These responsibilities include managing the process to establish held-for-sale accounting entries, engaging and managing external support (if applicable) and coordinating with the functional teams to ensure they are informed and prepared to record the sale. Creating a comprehensive monthly report outlining all Controllers’ related deal implications and reporting to senior management regularly on status of sale/de-integration. Identifies and drives cost-savings and risk mitigation strategies related to acquisition and disposition activity Conducts analyses of key business and financial decisions and provides unique insight around the results. You will be a part of an international controller team and lead controllers through acquisition and disposition activity.
