Your challenge – designing our new setup together with providers around the globe In this role, you work together with the team and our suppliers in designing the new setup for Sandvik’s infrastructure across the globe – a great opportunity to make a mark to say the least. You ensure that the architecture of the IT landscape is aligned with business objectives and development plans, efficiently and based on business wide analyses. Another important part of your role is ensuring that our enterprise architecture and IT strategy is communicated, understood, used and followed within different projects and sites. To do this, you participate in meetings with stakeholders from the different business areas within Sandvik – discussing challenges and anchoring architecture. The location for this position is at our new office “Kista One” in Kista, Sweden. Welcome to our team Network Services, part of Enterprise Services within Sandvik IT, is responsible for all global network service delivery within Sandvik. This includes accountability in the areas of design, development and operations. In a fast-changing environment with new evolution technologies and internet-based applications, our network services enable change with continued operational stability to support business needs. By managing central and virtual enterprise teams while addressing operational and strategical challenges, our team provides freedom, visibility, insight and responsiveness. Your character – a visionary “yes-person” with a passion for teamwork and innovation We are looking for someone with a degree in IT or Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge gained from experience. At least five years of experience from working in a similar environment is required, and you’re passionate about building and developing the next generation network. You’re used to cooperating with key stakeholder, and it’s a plus if you have experience from IT service management, vendor management, routing and switching technologies, cloud enablement and connectivity, project management and ITIL principles. You also have experience from writing technical specifications, business cases and financial justifications, and to succeed in this role, you need to be familiar with cutting edge network technologies of today and tomorrow.
