Key job assignments * To participate in all shoot related aspects of motion capture production * To quality assure motion capture data quality and acquisition * To participate in future proofing motion capture methods and pipeline Detailed responsibilities * To participate in studio budget planning meetings especially in regards to costs for motion capture production. * To participate internal development supporting motion capture production. To actively collaborate with relevant team members in the research and development of applicable hardware, software and tools. * To help develop, manage and maintain motion capture production hardware setup and pipelines. This includes hardware and pipelines related to data capture, reference video and reference audio capture/playback. * To participate and contribute to briefings relating to motion capture production, to ensure flow and dissemination of up-to-date information to all relevant parties. * Take part in the day-to-day operations on the mocap stage. * To collaborate with mocap lead in all relevant motion capture production processes and workflows. * To provide information regarding motion capture production timelines, estimates, turnaround times. To participate in all aspects of motion capture pre-production, through collaboration with related department leads, development of pipelines, workflows and processes, to ready for and to maximise efficiency in production. * To establish and maintain a clear and concise channel of communication to clients & producers regarding all relevant aspects of motion capture production, where required with the aim to maximise both client satisfaction and efficiency in production. * To contribute relevant information, relating to motion capture production, for project 'post-mortems': to identify successes as well as snags, bottlenecks and blockages that occurred so as to avoid these where applicable and improve for future projects.
