This role will set an expectation on you to be able to balance customer needs, laws and regulations and user centered design in a global and cross product range environment, as well as driving innovation and advanced engineering projects within your area. Our team would benefit from a person that has good theoretical knowledge and practical experience within physical and environmental ergonomics. So if you have interest and skills in developing and improving products from an ergonomic perspective you might just as well be the person we are looking for. Our team is located in Eskilstuna with some occasional travels. The Operator Environment department has the overall UX responsibility within the global Volvo CE organization. We are the team that works with knowledge building and delivering user centered products with focus on Human Machine Interaction, Ergonomics and HVAC. In the near future we see a lot of interesting challenges coming up such as electromobility, autonomous machines, connected machines and sites and much more. If you share our enthusiasm in developing products with a user centered approach you might be interested in joining our Human Factors team to work as a design engineer with focus on physical and environmental ergonomics in the global organization. Operator environment is an important part of the complete machine and it is of great value and importance to our customers. Today, many of our cabs are market leading in the area of operator environment and we intend to strengthen this position.
