Key skills: Experienced and skilled operator of pavers and compactors Able to operate and demonstrate other VCE machines Able to demonstrate features and benefits of VCE machines Knowledge of the complete VCE machine portfolio and its uses Knowledge of Region EMEA markets Understanding of the paving and compaction industry Have a good network of contacts within VCE Ability to communicate in written and spoken English, German would also be an advantage Presentation and training skills Required knowledge and experience: Technical education, training or apprenticeship in a relevant discipline Machine operator’s license (if appropriate) Relevant practical machine operating and maintenance experience Extensive product knowledge Technical experience of the paving industry An understanding of customer operations and segment needs Experience of working in an international environment Good communication skills and the ability to interact with people on all levels and from a variety of cultures Ability to work unsupervised in a productive and structured manner Job summar: Promote market share growth and premium price realisation of Volvo CE products in the paving industry in Region EMEA To support with expert product and application knowledge about paving and compaction products in the VCE portfolio (pavers, double drum rollers, single drum rollers, pneumatic tyre rollers and co-pilot) Perform field visits to support dealers and customers (productivity and application studies, exhibition/event support, follow up on customers with application problems, etc.) Conduct application and product training Main tasks: Promote the use of the road institute training concept Plan and conduct training of customer personnel in the practical use and basic maintenance of Volvo equipment Plan and conduct training of dealer and Region EMEA personnel in the use and sales of selected VCE products, primarily those products related to paving Develop and deliver product and application related training material Promote existing products into new applications and new markets mainly by demonstration activities and customer visits Advise dealers and customers on selection of machine size and type, specification and attachments according to application, productivity requirements and other customer needs Advise customers on methods to improve productivity and efficiency Collect and supply structured information, based on hands on experience, field observations and feedback collected from customers, to the Product Strategy function Plan and execute machine demonstrations Support selected global and regional marketing activities Participate in evaluation of competitor products Evaluate machine performance complaints at customer sites Support Technology with product evaluations Conduct Site-Sim studies and other field investigations Location: Preferable Hameln, Germany but other approved VCE locations could be discussed CURIOUS, AND HAVE SOME QUESTIONS?
