Job summary In this job your responsibility will Define and implement the Strategy of Software spend through the network of Global Electronics suppliers (off the shelves or proprietary applications), and Build a strategy for New Connected Applications (services to customers, web apps…) . You will evaluate supplier’s capabilities in Software and monitor the development phases during New Product introduction. Main tasks/responsibilities Define the guidelines for Software sourcing strategy together with the Electronics Commodity team and Manage Software supply base (Identification, evaluation, approval and development of strategic suppliers) Define the future Connectivity Services for our Customers with our Marketing Department, map the market, evaluate technical solutions with a Business Mindset (Customer value, long term view but speed execution) Monitor Software development gates at Suppliers during New Product introduction (from Specification to Implementation), including Software Apps (Google, connected services…) Negotiate Contracts (framework, licenses, development agreements) Quality, Delivery and Cost contracts Is this your next job?
